The singer, who appeared in court earlier this year on charges of assault, has teamed up with T.I following his recent release from prison to record a track called 'Wanted'.
Rock - real name Robert Ritchie - told the Daily Star: "I’ve done a track with T.I. called 'Wanted'. I took him in a very different direction with steel guitars. It’s a very bluesy country-fried vibe. Then we put these big beats on it and he just blazed it."
"Me and Jon [Bon Jovi] had [originally] talked about mashing up my song 'Cowboy' with Bon Jovi’s 'Wanted Dead Or Alive'. T.I. heard it and really wanted to run with it.
"But we changed the whole track so there’s no elements of those songs left, except for the word Wanted."
The track will feature on Kid Rock's comeback album King Uncaged, due for release later this year.
