Rowland: 'Beyoncé was my only friend'

The pair remained in the group throughout its four lineup changes, and Rowland admitted that despite rumours of fighting between the pair, they were always best friends.
"We were always civilised," she told Entertainment Weekly.
"That’s what I’m most proud of. From the rumours to the lawsuits to false accusations, it was really tough. We were strong because we had each other.
"There were times when I couldn’t even be strong enough, so I had B. She was the only thing I knew. She was my only friend."
The singer releases her third studio album Kelly Rowland in September, which features the David Guetta-produced lead single 'Commander'.
