The 'Gypsy' singer told YouTube that the new LP will have "a strong rock side", as well as "romantic" and "Latino" songs.
"I'm very excited about the new album, because it reminds me of different eras and stages of my career. It's like a synthesis of all these 20 years," she explained.
The star admitted that the album is very 'personal' and deals with issues such as heartbreak.
"It's been quite interesting to make this album, I've been reconnecting to myself," she said.
Speaking about her most recent LP 'She Wolf', she said that her favourite song was 'Men in this Town', which she was disappointed didn't become a single.
Sale El Sol is due for release this autumn.
