The record sees the Roxy Music star teaming up with a number of guest performers, including members of Radiohead, Primal Scream, Scissor Sisters and Groove Armada.
Pink Floyd's David Gilmour and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea will also make an appearance on the release.
It will be the first album since 1973 to reunite Ferry with members Roxy Music, including guitarist Phil Manzanera and saxophonist Andy Mackay.
Olympia, which will be released in October, is the follow-up to Ferry's 2007 CD Dylanesque.
