The rapper is due to play in the country on Thursday but has been urged to make a stand against Israel's policy towards Palestinians in Gaza by pulling out of the concert.
Officials at Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East are hoping that Elliot will follow in the footsteps of Elvis Costello, Santana and the Pixies, who have all cancelled recent shows in Israel.
The protest group wrote on their official website: "On July 15, rapper Missy Elliott is scheduled to play in Israel. As a member of a visible minority, and someone who has long contributed to various social causes, Ms Elliott may have a sensitivity to the plight of the oppressed.
"Santana, Elvis Costello, the Pixies and other prominent performers have recently cancelled concerts in Israel in solidarity with the Palestinian call for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel in 2005."
