According to TMZ, Ann Kirsten Kennis, who features on the sleeve of the band's 2010 album Contra, claims that her signature on a consent form was forged.
In the suit filed at the LA County Superior Court, the model blames the band for not verifying the authenticity of her signature on the release obtained from a photographer named Tod Brody, who is also being sued.
The image of Kennis was taken in 1983 and was used by the band from last November to promote their second LP.
BrooklynVegan reports that the allegedly forged contract is signed by a "Kirsten Johnson", with the name listed as "Kirsten Johnsen". Kennis also claims that Brody did not take the image in question.
