Alongside Jay-Z and Sade, Keys is also expected to sing at the benefit concert, which will take place on September 30 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
Speaking to The AP, the singer said: "Sade? Jay-Z? Both icons and both major influences of mine. I am overwhelmed by their generosity in helping us continue the tradition of making the Black Ball the best fundraiser in NYC. There are more surprises coming up! Stay tuned!"
The Keep A Child Alive organisation has raised more than $10 million (£7,730,500) since 2004, providing HIV/AIDS treatment for families predominantly affected in Africa.
Keys recently admitted that she had a "tough" upbringing growing up in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan.
