The Fame Monster singer, who has promised that her next release will be "iconic", previously said that she had written the LP's lead single in Liverpool.
She has now revealed that the record will be delayed until next year because she wants to spend more time doing interviews and appearances. She also wants to complete the 'Monster Ball' tour and have a rest, according to GaGa Daily.
