Also among the competitors are Example with 'Kickstarts' and Sophie Ellis-Bextor with 'Bittersweet'.
The tongue-in-cheek award nominations come as the Barclaycard Mercury Prize contenders were confirmed.
Girls Aloud won the prize for the fifth time last year for their number one single 'The Promise'.
Nicola Roberts collected the £20 note prize, joking that she felt "liberated".
The latest list marks the first time Girls Aloud have not been eligible for the prize, having not released a new single in the last year.
