According to The Sun, the former glamour model has chosen to focus on other aspects of her career after solo debut single 'Free To Love Again' failed to make the Top 40.
A source told the newspaper: "Katie wants to concentrate on what she does best 100%.
"She knows what she's good at whether its writing books, modelling or appearing on her own reality show but the pop career isn't for her."
Price, who is currently promoting the ghostwritten novel Paradise, is said to have cancelled plans to perform at London's G-A-Y club this weekend.
