Gorillaz announce world tour

The Plastic Beach group will play 20 gigs in North America, including their first ever show at Madison Square Gardens. Two nights at London's O2 Arena will form part of 10 European dates before the virtual band head to Asia and Australia for seven further shows.
The previously-announced UK tour dates will now become part of the 'Escape To Plastic Beach World Tour' and have been rescheduled from September to November with a new show added at the Brighton Centre.
The group have promised fans a "wild and organic experience" on the tour, which will kick off its European leg in Dublin on November 11.
Tickets for the Brighton Centre gig go on sale on Friday July 30, with fanclub members being offered a 48-hour pre-sale. All other UK dates are now available while the US dates are yet to be confirmed.
Gorillaz will release 'Melancholy Hill' as the first commercial single from Plastic Beach on July 27.
The full rescheduled UK and Ireland tour dates are as follows:
- November 11 - Dublin, O2 Arena
- November 12 - Manchester, MEN Arena
- November 14, 16 - London, O2 Arena
- November 17 - Birmingham, NIA
- November 18 - Brighton, Centre
