The Boyzone star told Bang Showbiz that the singer would realise how much he had missed his bandmates.
"I remember what it's like not to have the boys and if Robbie can get them back in his life it will benefit him as a human being," he said. "Not from a business point of view but as a human being. You've grown up with these guys from a very young age, it's a very impressionable age.
"You experience the highs and the lows of your career together and then when you spend so much time again it's hard. When you get back together again, you really realise how much you miss your bandmates and how much you love them."
He added: "It's a great security blanket and he'll experience it all. When you're younger you don't realise how important it is."
Lynch also revealed that Boyzone will tour next year.
"We're planning to tour again next year, and then hit the studio straight after to start on the next album. It's what we love to do," he said.
