The 'Ego' group released their Top 10 album Wordshaker last year, but decided to release the mini-album Headlines! after studio sessions for their third album earlier this year.
"As soon as we heard 'Missing You' it just felt like a record that should be released now," Mollie King revealed. "To us it’s the perfect summer song."
The recently-confirmed tracklisting for mini-album includes their Top 10 tracks 'Forever Is Over' and 'Ego' along with a remix of Wordshaker album track 'One Shot' and five new recordings originally intended for the third album, which is scheduled for release in autumn 2011.
Rochelle Wiseman confirmed on Twitter that the group would be shooting their next single's video in four weeks.
The Saturdays release new single 'Missing You' on August 9.
