The instrument is being auctioned off in Memphis, TN alongside the star's 1955 contract with RCA Records.
Presley owned the white piano for a decade after buying it in 1957.
According to Yahoo, Doug Norwine, the director of music and entertainment at Heritage Auctions, said that it was "an emotionally-charged prized possession of the King himself".
Other items forming part of the Elvis memorabilia auction on August 14 include a letter the singer wrote in 1955 to his then-girlfriend and the purchase agreement for his Graceland mansion.
Last year, a lock of Presley's hair was sold for $18,300 (£11,757).
