Last month the production duo announced news of the song via their official Twitter page, but have since confirmed the track's release will front a new studio album.
'Believer' features vocals from Wynter Gordon, who has previously collaborated with David Guetta and Flo Rida.
In a press release, Russell Small said: "We’ve only recently finished the record and we just wanted to get it out there to the fans as we know they have been waiting a while for a new single.
“We’ve road-tested versions of the ‘Believer’ out at some big events like the Pride Festivals in New York, London and Montreal and it’s gone down a storm so we thought why not let people buy it now, it’s a big summer tune".
James Wiltshire added: “We haven’t had time to do an edit yet, we’ll be working on that soon and once that’s done ‘Believer’ will get a full release."
'Believer' is out August 15. There as-yet-untitled album is expected in early 2011.
