The dance trio, who played at the summer festival for a second time, admitted that they never thought they would be asked back after their 2002 gig.
Recalling the four-day event earlier this year, Singer Sister Bliss told The Mirror: "Amazing, 80,000 people. I feel blessed we were able to do it. After playing there in 2002, I never thought we'd do it again. Maxi Jazz and I had a moment where we choked up a bit."
Disucssing their output since their 1996 album Reverence, Bliss added: "Faithless have always been a little outside the mainstream. It's very easy to get to our level and become complacent.
"I don't ever want that. It's better to go with a combative approach than with the idea that everybody loves you.
"I look back over every album and feel blessed we've never had to compromise."
It was recently reported that Faithless are considering splitting after their current tour.
