Nineteen-year-old rapper Kano has had to cancel a gig at the Scala in King's Cross after Scotland Yard were concerned that "undesirable elements...could put members of the public in danger."
Although the rapper has never been involved in any gang violence, the sold-out show was cancelled after the use of something called the "Promoters Index," which includes information on promoters, artists and entourages.
The Evening Standard says that risk assessments carried out use information from the 'Index', and that any "related security concerns are raised."
Kano called the cancellation "a shame," saying that "there have never been any problems" for him previous to this. The show has yet to be rescheduled.
