A report last week claimed that Walsh and bandmates including Cheryl Cole, had "grown apart" from Coyle and planned to work on a new album without her.
Writing in her OK column, Walsh told fans the story was untrue.
"There was a silly story in the press about Girls Aloud reforming without Nadine. Don't believe it!" she said.
Meanwhile, Coyle is continuing to work on her debut solo album, which is reportedly scheduled for release later in the year.
