Hoosiers: 'Success is down to timing'

The group, whose new single 'Choices' is currently number 11 in the midweek chart, claimed that they are not bothered by chart positions but success is often down to releasing a song at the right time.
Relfecting on their current standing, Irwin Sparkes told Digital Spy: "Well, I guess 39 or 111 would be worse!
"Number 11 is great, though we've just been told by the label that if we'd released 'Choices' a month ago and had the same sales, we'd be at number two. It's all out of our hands now.
"We just make music, hope everyone likes it and the rest is down to timing and musical climate. I'm just pleased that we've got a song in the charts that has live bass, drums and guitar. It's such a rarity nowadays because everything is so rhythmic pop."
Sparkes also described their new album The Illusion Of Safety as "difficult".
