Jack White 'blasts concert crowd'

Jack White is said to have upset audience members during a concert at Don Hill's in New York on Wednesday.

The Dead Weather frontman screamed obscenities at the crowd, which included stars such as Liv Tyler and Mary-Kate Olsen, for what he believed was a lack of response to the band's music.

"F**k you, you hip motherf**kers! Why don't you rock the f**k out?!" he said.

"Maybe I should go grab those free drinks and shove them down your throats, you hip motherf**kers!"

The New York Daily News reports that White later apologised for the outburst, saying: "I'm sorry I blew up at you guys earlier. Thanks for coming out."
