The event will take place in November at London's Roundhouse. The Mighty Boosh Band, made up of comedians Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, will perform their take on Zappa songs.
Over three days, audiences will hear musical tributes from the late star's son Dweezil, the London Contemporary Orchestra and members of his touring band.
'Frank Zappa At The Roundhouse' will also feature talks, films and exhibitions.
Zappa's widow Gail is expected to make an appearance.
The musician died in 1993 from prostate cancer.
