Young told Reuters that he has high hopes for Swift appearing on Owl City's third full-length release.
''One of my dreams has been to get Taylor Swift to do a song,'' said Young.
The musician admitted that he already has a song in mind for Swift, but acknowledged that scheduling difficulties could make it difficult for the country star to fit in a collaboration.
''I have kind of a cool idea for this sort of hybrid, countryish direction for a new song that would be perfect for her,'' Young added. ''We're hoping for the best. I can't even imagine how busy she is, so if it happens, it's cool.''
