Spears denies outburst over Timberlake

Britney Spears has denied a report claiming that she recently had a meltdown over ex Justin Timberlake.

Earlier this week, the National Enquirer cited an unnamed source who suggested that Spears had a "violent outburst" in a recording studio because Timberlake refused to record a duet with her.

"Britney desperately wanted Justin to sing with her, and weeks ago she asked him to record a duet for her latest CD," said the insider.

The source added: "But Justin wouldn't make a commitment, even though they both record for Jive Records."

However, a representative for Spears told Gossip Cop that the story is "not true" and that Spears and Timberlake are on good terms.
