Cage pays tribute to Jimi Hendrix

In the NME clip, the actor insisted that Hendrix was "committed to his sound".
He said: "Because he was original, he was committed to his sound, he stuck to it, he never compromised. He was completely devoted to that wall of sound that he generated and sadly he died at a very young age.
"But that tends to happen with highly inspired artists who are very sensitive."
Gary Numan and Slipknot's Corey Taylor also paid tribute to the musician.
