Ferreira annoyed by GaGa, Marina comparisons

The LA-raised singer-songwriter, 18, has been likened to everyone from Ke$ha to Lady GaGa while promoting her debut single 'One' - released in the UK on August 23.
"It gets very frustrating and it recently made me snap during an interview. I wasn't mean about it, but I did have my say," she recalled.
"I was like, 'I was out before half of these people you're comparing me to. I might not have been on the radio but I built a solid fanbase first'. There are people that I predated and these writers and bloggers are saying I copied them - how?"
However, when asked by Digital Spy which comparison she found most ridiculous, Ferreira chose half-Greek, half-Welsh singer Marina and the Diamonds.
"I really like her but I don't think we're anything alike. I sing, 'I am not a robot but I feel like one' in 'One', but I wrote that song a year-and-a-half ago in Stockholm, before I'd even heard of Marina and the Diamonds," she said.
"That's not even the point though, because the songs have completely different concepts, and musically, me and her are nothing alike."
