The 'Don't Upset The Rhythm' group, who are currently working on the follow-up to 2009's Wild Young Hearts, said they are keen to explore new sounds on the record.
"I’ve been writing with a lot of new people," singer Shingai Shoniwa told the Daily Star.
"Ne-Yo is one of them. He’s a lovely guy. We are really exploring new directions for the band to go in, but we’ll always remain a trio."
Earlier this year the Noisettes revealed that they almost split after going through a "rough patch".
