Marina announces new single
Published Tuesday, Aug 17 2010, 14:22 BST | By Robert Copsey

'Shampain', the fifth cut from the singer's debut album The Family Jewels, will be released in the UK on October 4.
Earlier this year, Marina - whose real name is Marina Diamandis - said the track was about "the depressing side of getting drunk, the obliteration side of having a good time".
The track was co-written with Pascal Gabriel, who recently worked with Goldfrapp on their latest LP Head First and Kylie Minogue's Aphrodite.
The single package will feature remixes by Fred Falke, Pictureplane and Sound of Arrows. The video will be directed by Kim Gehri, who has recently directed videos for Goldfrapp and Mark Ronson.
Diamandis last single 'Oh No!' peaked at number 36 on the UK singles chart.
