Speaking on Lopez Tonight, the LA Ink star said that she is "pretty excited" about her music plans.
"I've been taking voice lessons for about a year now and writing some music, I'm pretty excited about it," she said.
"I'm putting together a band. It's going to be in the rock genre to a certain degree but pop as in popular, not as in disposable music."
George Lopez then remarked that she has a "captivating voice", to which the tattooist joked: "If you like what Ralph Macchio sounds like!"
"I always thought I sounded like him," she added. "Not when I sing though!"
