DJ AM charity 'helps young addicts'

The DJ AM Memorial Fund made a large donation to rehab patients at Los Angeles' Phoenix House Academy develop their musical talents with new turntables, reports TMZ.
A rep for the organisation said: "We wanted to find a way to continue Adam's legacy of giving back that would include music as a key component.
"Making a donation that includes a DJ station helps Adam's legacy live on."
DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in his New York apartment in August 2009.
