A listing on the club's official website confirmed the singer's "first ever show", just two days before his debut album is released.
On what he has planned for his performance, he told Metro: "We'll keep it a surprise but I am going to have to pull something out!"
The 19-year-old, who came out last month, said that he finds it strange that he was recently listed as a gay role model by charity Stonewall.
"It feels weird," he said. "I don't really see myself as a role model but I would never do anything that is bad as I realise people are looking at me."
McElderry denied that he had been pressured into speaking about his sexuality.
"I didn’t really see it as getting it out of the way," he said. "I realised who I was and I discovered who I was as a person and I have always been honest about how I felt. I've never told lies. I wanted to talk about how I felt."
