The Daily Star reports that a scheme recently appeared on Facebook to entice fans of the 16-year-old with promises of free concert tickets.
"Wow! Justin Bieber is giving away free tickets now," the ads state.
Those who click on the link are then pulled into a fraud of some sort, though it is not clear what exactly the scam aims to do.
"This is a dirty rotten trick on youngsters," said online security firm Sophos.
