The Mayfair flat is to be open to the public for 12 days to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Hendrix's death, reports Reuters.
The property will be part of the Handel House Museum's Hendrix in Britain exhibition, which will include clothing worn by the legendary guitar player.
"We are delighted to be opening up the flat which was a true home base to Hendrix during his seemingly endless schedule of touring in the UK and elsewhere," museum director Sarah Bardwell said in a statement.
Hendrix lived in the flat with girlfriend Kathy Etchingham.
The rocker died in 1970 at the age of 27.
