The 22-year-old frontman of the London band died yesterday at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium, after reportedly jumping from a backstage telecommunications pole.
This afternoon, La Roux singer Elly Jackson announced that her set would be in memory of Haddon, who had previously toured with the band. She told the Staffordshire crowd: "Yesterday, a friend of ours died. His name was Charlie and he was from Ou Est Le Swimming Pool. They supported us on tour, and he died yesterday at Pukkelpop. So the whole of the set is for him really. Can we have a big hand for Charlie please?"
Later, Luke Pritchard from The Kooks said before playing 'Petunia' : "We would like to dedicate this to our friend Chas from Ou Est Le Swimming Pool."
Ou Est Le Swimming Pool had been touring European festivals and were due to play Bestival in September.
