The Irish singer, who moved to Los Angeles in 2007, has returned to Britain for the first time since supporting Coldplay with Girls Aloud at Wembley Stadium last September.
On her official Twitter page, she wrote: "Helllloo, I am so so excited about getting back to the uk. Hopefully I can get to Ireland too. I miss you all! Xx what's been going on? X"
Coyle also suggested that fans ignore rumours she is to leave Girls Aloud, tweeting: "Hi there, I hope your having a nice day. I am! 'Rumours, blow them away' mwah Xx"
It was reported yesterday that the star has signed a solo deal with Tesco, permitting the retailer to sell her album exclusively in its stores only.
The deal also suggests that Coyle will have complete creative control over the record.
The as-yet-untitled album is rumoured to be scheduled for release in November.
