The rapper has said that Erskine Isaac and David Nelson, the owners of Ujaama Talent Agency Inc, owe him $375,000 (£242,000) from two of his America's Most Wanted Music Festivals.
According to AllHipHop, Wayne claims that Isaac and Nelson "elected to divert to Ujaama's own bank account an amount not less than $375,000, the sum that Isaac and Nelson maintain is owed to Ujaama for the tours in question".
The 27-year-old used the firm since the start of his career and took part in four different tours with Ujaama between 2008 and 2010.
His lawyer reportedly unsuccessfully requested the missing money before filing the suit in New York on August 16.
Wayne is currently serving time at the city's Rikers jail on weapons possession charges.
