The Girls Aloud singer, who recently relaunched her Dainty Doll make-up range, also admitted that music is still her greatest passion.
"When I've not been doing Dainty Doll this year, I've been in the studio non-stop doing all of my own song writing," she told Metro.
"I would never give up on music. Music has always been the thing that's been closest to me.
It was recently reported that Roberts was rumoured to be working on a solo album after allegedly signing a deal with Sony Records.
A source said: "She wants to do something different to the other girls - something kookier and cooler. She’s an original girl - and the label want to utilise that fact with her music."
Fellow Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle are said to be releasing albums later this year.
