The ten-strong grime collective, who rose to fame with their number one hit 'Good Times' , admitted that they were unsure if they would ever be successful in the mainstream music industry.
Crew member Target told the Daily Star: "Loads of people wrote us off but it’s funny how things can change in the space of 12 months. This time last year we were like: ‘Are people ever gonna take this to the level that we want?'
"We had the songs and then all of a sudden things got mental, this year has been unbelievable. When we first came from the grime scene it was almost taboo to do anything commercial, everybody would turn their noses up at you."
He added: "Now all the artists who have come out of that scene like Tinie Tempah and Tinchy Stryder are experimenting and reaping the rewards."
Discussing their new album Winner Stays On, he revealed: "There are some experimental tracks, club bangers and some real grime stuff. We can't wait to get it out there."
Winner Stays On is out in October.
