The 'Womanizer' singer, who recently filmed her cameo appearance in Glee, reportedly played the album for the show's creator Ryan Murphy.
He told US Magazine: "[It's] really amazing. It's sort of a return to the sort of Britney dance stuff. There are some great, great singles on that album.
"I was really happy for her. I feel like she is coming back in a big way."
Spears has been working on her seventh studio album since wrapping her Circus tour last year.
An official release date is yet to be announced.
