Labrinth: 'Cowell doesn't call me'

Labrinth has revealed that Simon Cowell does not phone him because the pair have yet to exchange numbers.

The rapper, who recently signed to Cowell's label Syco, admitted that the music mogul is afraid to give him his phone number in case he passes it on to his girlfriend.

He told The Sun: "[Cowell is] my uncle, but we keep it exclusive. He won't give me his number, he thinks I'm gonna give it to my girlfriend. She really likes him.

"He probably doesn't have my number. If I get a number one then he's probably gonna want my number."

Labrinth - real name Timothy McKenzie - is Syco's first non-talent show signing in six years. His new single 'Let The Sun Shine' is out September 27.
