The Pogues confirm farewell Xmas tour

The Shane MacGowan-fronted band will play a number of concerts in the UK this December, with the shows being billed as "an ultimate seasonal send-off".
Tickets for the final Christmas tour go on sale this Friday at 9am.
In 1987, the group's 'Fairytale Of New York' featuring Kirsty MacColl reached number two in the charts and has frequently been voted among the best Christmas songs of all time.
The full tour dates are as follows:
- December 13 - Glasgow, O2 Academy
- December 14 - Newcastle, O2 Academy
- December 16 - Sheffield, O2 Academy
- December 17 - Manchester, Apollo
- December 18 - Birmingham, O2 Academy
- December 20 - London, Brixton O2 Academy
- December 21 - London, Brixton O2 Academy
