The 'Teenage Dream' star and the Radio 1 presenter Scott Mills are to spend one hour locked in a white room - as fans will be able to suggest what she spends the time doing.
'U CTRL Katy Perry' will be shown live on the Radio 1 website from 5pm tomorrow.
"I've interviewed Katy a few times and she's really good fun," Mills said. "I just love the idea that the listeners can text in and ask her to do whatever they want - obviously within reason - they need to keep it clean."
Perry's new LP is on course to top this week's UK albums chart.
