50 Cent 'gives up Twitter for album work'

The rapper announced that he would be leaving the social networking site while writing songs for The Return Of The Heartless Monster but expects to be finished by next week.
"Ok ladies and gentalmen I'm writing my new album (sic)," he wrote.
"I will not be on twitter again till Sept 6. This album will be a classic."
He added: "I'm gonna let you motherf**kers suffer of boredom till I return."
50 Cent was recently banned from Twitter's picture hosting site Twitterpic after posting explicit images.
