Vini Reilly recovering from minor stroke

The Durutti Column guitarist revealed the news via a message on his official website.
"Vini Reilly recently suffered a minor stroke but after four days in hospital and then discharging himself he is well on the road to recovery," the statement read.
"He's slightly unsteady on his feet and has lost some feeling in his left hand but is in good spirits, has been regularly playing his Juan Montero Spanish guitar and is steadily rebuilding his strength.
"So much so in fact that he is booked in for a recording session with Keir Stewart on Tuesday to begin recording the new Durutti Column album... All the very best Vini and here's wishing you a speedy return to full fitness."
The message confirmed that Reilly will be interviewed by Paul Morley at the Purcell Room in London's Southbank Centre for 'Paul Morley: The Tony Wilson Interviews' on October 20.
Reilly will also perform live with Poppy Morgan at the event, tickets for which are available now for £10 plus booking fee.
