The Pipettes record Christmas single

The group, who released their first track 'Pipettes Christmas Single' in 2004, have recorded a new festive song which they describe as "lovely" and "warm".
Ani Saunders told Digital Spy: "I'm on my way to record a Christmas song! I'm off to [producer] Martin Rushent's studio, which is in his house - can you believe that?"
Asked if they plan to release a Christmas track as an annual tradition, she said: "I hope so! I mean, we've missed out a couple of Christmases, but I think we're getting back on track now.
"Martin said he's going to do the Wall of Sound better than Phil Spector, so let's see how that works out! It's going to be a lovely warm Christmas song we hope."
The duo release their new album Earth Vs. Pipettes this week.
