According to Rolling Stone, no reason was given for the tour changes. However, the announcement comes shortly after frontman Weiland appeared late on stage in El Paso and seemed disoriented.
The rocker apparently delivered a long rant about his past drug problems and a number of random topics during the show, which was cut short due to his behaviour.
During the tirade, Stone also admitted that he is drinking again.
There is further speculation that low ticket sales led to the break in the tour schedule, expected to resume in mid-October.
