A statement released through AllKPop reports that West produced the track 'Ayyy Girl' from the band's forthcoming album The Beginning.
Producer Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins reportedly wrote the songs 'Empty' and 'Be My Girl', which also feature on the release.
Jerkins is quoted as saying: "I’m really glad to work with JYJ on their debut album. It’s all about the East meeting the West these days and the world is becoming a melting pot of various cultures.
"To have Kanye and myself champion the cause of unifying the world through the international language of music and introducing top artistes from one end of the globe to this end in America makes this a very special project to us.”
The group were originally part of the boy band TVXQ which is currently on an indefinite hiatus following reported disputes with their record label.
As a result, Xiah Jun-Su, Micky Yoo-Chun, and Hero Jae-Joong reformed as a trio named after the first letter of each of their names.
Former TVXQ members U-Know and Max are currently no longer with the band.
The Beginning is scheduled to be released October 12.
