Interpol announce new UK tour dates

Interpol have announced new 2011 tour dates in support of their upcoming self-titled fourth album.

The shows follow the already-announced winter tour for 2010, the band's first dates in Britain since the departure of bassist Carlos 'D' Dengler. Interpol have also added a third show to that tour at London's O2 Brixton Academy.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale this Friday at 9am.

The combined tour dates are as follows:

• November 24 - Nottingham Rock City
• November 25 - Newcastle, O2 Academy
• November 26 - Birmingham, O2 Academy
• November 27 - Edinburgh, Corn Exchange
• December 3 - Manchester, Apollo
• December 4 - Liverpool, University
• December 6, 7, 8 - London, O2 Academy Brixton
• March 18 - Bournemouth O2 Academy
• March 19 - Bristol Colston Hall
• March 20 - Cambridge Corn Exchange
• March 22 - Leeds O2 Academy
