INXS announce plans for greatest hits

However, Music News reports that the album will not follow a traditional greatest hits format, as the band will re-record their biggest songs using a number of different guest singers.
INXS's original vocalist Michael Hutchence died in 1997 in a suspected drug and alcohol-related suicide.
Artists including Ben Harper, Rob Thomas and Pat Monahan have already been announced as appearing on the album.
Dan Sultan will re-record the track 'Just Keep Walking' while Ben Harper will sing 'Never Tear Us Apart'.
The album currently has no release date.
