Jarman working on new Cribs material
Published Sunday, Oct 3 2010, 15:46 BST | By Tom Ayres

NME reports that although the group are taking some time off following their performances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this year, Jarman has continued to write new songs in preparation for their return.
"I can't help writing songs," Jarman explained. "The only reason I write songs is 'cos I buzz off 'em for a few weeks after I've written it, and that's the only reason that keeps me going."
He added: "I've got all these ideas."
The Cribs released their most commercially successful album Ignore the Ignorant in September 2009 to a good critical reception but are yet to announce official plans for a follow-up.
