
Science & Faith, the band's second album, knocked Phil Collins off the top spot following a brief fall to number two last week.
Elsewhere on the chart, Mark Ronson & The Business Intl debuted at number two with Record Collection, while KT Tunstall entered the chart at number five with her third album Tiger Suit.
Simply Red re-entered the chart at number nine with 25 - The Greatest Hits after last Saturday's ITV1 special Simply Red: For The Last Time.
Other new entries include Le Noise by Neil Young at number 18 and Jimmy Eat World with Invented at number 29.
